EVALUATION VISIT OF THE TRAINING PROJECT FOR 4000 YOUNG FUTURE ENERGY LEADERS IN CAMEROON (FLEC)
WELCOME OF THE SCHNEIDER TEAM TO CECOSDA
On February 18, 2026, a visit from the Schneider team, represented by Odile NGO NGUIMBUS (Head of Youth Education and Entrepreneurship for West and Central Africa, as well as Corporate Social Responsibility at Schneider Electric) and MARWA AHMED HAMMAD(Head of Global Gender Strategy at Schneider Electric), took place at the premises of CECOSDA. The purpose of this visit was to exchange ideas with the administrative team of theCECOSDA in order to evaluate the project to train 4,000 future leaders in solar energy in Cameroon, abbreviated FLEC. The team members also met some beneficiaries of the project and discussed future prospects to ensure the continuity of the partnership between Schneider and the CECOSDA.

After presenting a brief summary of the project's progress and answering questions from partners, the Schneider team formulated proposals to ensure the sustainability of the FLEC project. For its part, the CECOSDA team outlined the challenges encountered during the project's implementation and also discussed future prospects for guaranteeing the FLEC project's continuity.

The students of the New-Tonw Mbalmayo Technical High School, while in the midst of their FLEC training, had the opportunity to interact remotely with the Schneider team via Google Meet. During this session, they received valuable advice and encouragement from the team.

SCHNEIDER VISIT TO CECOSDA'S PREMISES
The Schneider team visited the CECOSDA facilities. During this visit, they explored the Equitable Energy workshop and the training office. The team also visited the SolarDjangui office and several spaces dedicated to practical workshops. This immersive experience allowed the Schneider team members to gain a better understanding of the activities and infrastructure at CECOSDA.
SCHNEIDER AND SOME BENEFICIARIES OF THE FLEC PROJECT (Pupils, students, FNE)
Job-seeking youth, professionals from the National Employment Fund in Cameroon (FNE), and members of the Polytechnic student collective committed to sustainable energy transition, environmental awareness, and the promotion of healthy energy solutions in Cameroon (SYnerGEne) had the opportunity to speak with the Schneider team. Among the participants were also high school and middle school students who had already completed projects. This meeting allowed the students to raise some concerns.

Following the FLEC project evaluation visit, the Schneider team took a group photo with the learners and CECOSDA members. This friendly moment helped to strengthen the links between the different stakeholders in the project. The exchange was fruitful and highlighted the progress made thanks to this collaboration.
