Public action appears more and more as the pertinent reference of efficient and collective resolution of issues of public space. Being conscious of the foregoing, the Cameroon National Ozone bureau, while organizing a workshop on the implementation of the Protocol Stockholm on eliminating persistent pollutants in Cameroon, was surrounded by a set of relevant stakeholders in the question.
In this vein, CECOSDA, as an organization of civil society actively engaged in communication for sustainable development, has been invited to contribute to the workshop. Each contribution being dependent on the competence, CECOSDA was naturally been assigned to intervene within the communication commission. With other partners in the field of communication, CECOSDA team was to contribute to the setting-up of communication strategies to operationalize the elimination of persistent pollutants in Cameroon.
At the end of the workshop, recommendations were been made to the international consultant of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. In the field of communication, it has been adopted as strategies proposed by the CECOSDA:
