CELEBRATION OF THE 44TH EDITION OF THE WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2016 UNDER THE THEME: "ILLEGAL WILDLIFE TRADE"
The Centre for Communication and Sustainable Development for All (CECOSDA) took part in the closing ceremony marking the end of activities to celebrate the World Environment Day. The ceremony was held on Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Yaounde conference hall under the auspices of the Minister of Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED), Mr. HELE PIERRE. This ceremony reiterated government's commitment to fight against the illegal exploitation of wildlife.

The team of CECOSDA was represented by Mrs. Mabel Tsanga Ewange, Performance and Network Manager, and Mr. Gregory Germain Eloundou, Program Assistant. The participation of CECOSDA was a gesture of support to government initiatives with regards to environmental protection in Cameroon. It is in this perspective that CECOSDA carry out many field activities for the protection of wildlife species.
